Middleton Throstle

‘Gascoigne House Extra Care’ which forms part of the wider Middleton Throstle masterplan is now complete. With it’s planted courtyards and a publicly accessible roof garden providing outstanding views out across Leeds, we are looking forward to seeing it in full bloom next year.

Elsewhere on site, progress continues apace on the affordable housing and five acre public park on the site of the ‘Throstle Rec’. The Middleton Throstle masterplan represents a major Investment by Leeds City Council in Middleton as part of their Council House Growth Program.

The park will give the community new quality open green space. There will be new play areas, planting, network of paths and places to sit. Biodiversity and sustainable drainage is embedded in the design.

Our landscape design has been developed in close collaboration with Watson Batty Architects on behalf of Wates Construction
